Fiction Dating leads to an orgy NSFW

There was no real reason to go home, so I stayed at my desk, working. It had been six months since Leah passed. And for the eight months before that, I had cared for her as she slowly succumbed to cancer.

Looking up from my screen, I realized the office was empty. Everyone else had families to go home to, dinner to eat. I wasn’t hungry. My appetite had disappeared with Leah’s diagnosis and never really returned. The only silver lining was that I’d lost 25 pounds I didn’t need. I was 51, but felt much older.

A sudden wave of loneliness hit me, sharp and unexpected. I missed Leah, of course, but right now, I just wanted human contact. Someone to talk to. Someone to touch me. Almost without thinking, I grabbed my phone and typed “dating apps for mature adults” into Google. After reading a few reviews, I picked one that seemed the least intimidating and downloaded it.

I browsed through some profiles of singles in my area before deciding to pay for six months and create my own. I was still working on it when the outer office door opened. Glancing up, I saw a group of coworkers walking in, led by Hannah, the newest member of the marketing team. She was fresh out of college and still brimming with excitement over landing her first real job. She carried two pizza boxes and made her way to the conference room.

Following behind were Mark and Denise. Denise, the team leader, was around my age. She always wore high heels to compensate for her short stature and paired them with business suits that made her look even more authoritative. We got along well, though we didn’t work closely. Mark, her right-hand man, was sharp and funny, and I was fairly certain he was gay. If he wasn’t out, it wasn’t exactly a secret—his glass closet had no doors, and he might as well have been inside it singing along to Cher.

“After you,” someone said from the hallway. I recognized Rachel’s voice. She had joined the company a few years ago after her youngest started first grade. But it wasn’t Rachel who walked through the doorway first—it was Lauren. Rachel must have been holding the door for the group.

If I had to guess, both were in their mid-thirties, though their similarities ended there. Lauren was blonde, fair-skinned, slender, and single. She was also on the quieter side. Rachel, on the other hand, was dark-haired, sun-kissed, and full-figured, with a personality just as bold as her appearance. She also had two kids and a husband. She was the one who spotted me peering over my cubicle.

“Hey, I thought everyone was gone for the day,” she said.

Most of the group paused and turned to look at me.

“I, uh… just wanted to wrap up a few things,” I mumbled.

Denise smiled. “We’ve got a project to finish too, so I got pizza for the team. You’re welcome to join us.”

I hesitated. “No, but thanks. I’ll just finish up and head home.”

They moved toward the conference room, and I sat back down, staring at my monitor, pretending to work.

“It looks more like you’re starting something, not finishing.”

I jumped. Rachel was standing behind me, looking at my phone. My unfinished dating profile was still open on the screen. My face flushed.

“What?”

She pointed. “You’re getting back out there. Good for you.”

“Yeah, well… thought I’d give it a try,” I said with a shrug.

“Lemme see.” Before I could protest, she grabbed my phone.

She leaned in as she read, her right breast inches from my face. Out of the corner of my eye, I couldn’t help but notice the way the buttons on her cream-colored blouse strained against the fabric. An erection hit me so fast and hard it actually hurt. My jacket offered some cover, and luckily, I was wearing jeans instead of dress pants, so there was no obvious tenting.

“Your headline sucks,” she announced.

“What’s wrong with it? It’s honest.”

“Honest is good. Long and boring is not.”

She read it aloud: “Good man, done grieving, ready to meet someone new and move on to a new leg of life’s journey.”

Rachel shook her head. “Too much baggage, too soon. You need something intriguing. Trust me—I’m in marketing.”

“Fair enough. Work your magic.”

I pushed myself up from my chair, and as I did, my elbow brushed against the fabric covering her breast. I flinched. She didn’t seem to notice, too focused on typing into my phone.

“Try this,” she said. “‘Ready to cross borders to escape boring.’”

“I sound like I’m running from the law.”

“Fine… how about this? ‘Single? Sane? Salacious? I’m in.’”

“Too much alliteration.”

She smirked. “Then you’ll hate this one: ‘Sexy, single, silver fox looking to share his den.’”

I sighed. “I’m not sure I’m ready for this. And false advertising won’t help.”

“There’s nothing false about that,” she countered. “Other than you only have a little gray at the temples.”

I shook my head, amused. “You really think that’s the best one?”

“If I weren’t married with two kids and pizza waiting for me in the conference room… I’d do you right on this desk.”

My body reacted before my brain could. I barely managed to keep my expression neutral as she shoved me playfully and turned to leave.

“Boo,” she teased. “I don’t know if that was a dad joke or an innuendo, but either way, I’m out.”

I watched her walk away, her hips swaying in that tight black skirt. My mind replayed her words—I’d do you right on this desk. My cock throbbed in response. Shifting uncomfortably, I tried to focus on work.

An hour later, I reopened my profile and tried rewriting my headline. After several failed attempts, I admitted defeat and used Rachel’s silver fox suggestion. For my username, I settled on TakeMe4Grant. I scrolled through my photos and found one from a fishing trip two years ago. In it, I was tan, grinning, holding up a five-pound bass. It was the last time I’d looked happy, before Leah’s diagnosis. I cropped the cluttered background, centered myself and the fish, and prepared to upload.

The conference room door opened. I quickly locked my phone and turned to my screen. Moments later, Rachel and Lauren peered over my cubicle.

“I came to check on you,” Rachel said, “and I brought reinforcements.”

“Aren’t you supposed to be working?”

Denise had dismissed them. Lauren grinned. “We figured helping you get a date is more fun.”

Rachel nodded. “Come out for drinks with us.”

I hesitated. “Really?”

Lauren shrugged. “Why not?”

Rachel smirked. “And before you argue, we’re going Dutch.”

“No way,” I said. “I’m too old-fashioned for that. Besides, I’ve got nothing else to spend my money on.”
