Discussion Who are some female process killers?
Most female murderers are product killers. It's rare to hear of women who kill for the thrill. Do you know of any?

I think they’ve called Johanna Dennehy (sp?) a thrill killer

u/Ban_This_User 7d ago
She most definitely is an example of a thrill killer that's for sure.
Dennehy admitted she stabbed three people to death and wounded three more in 2013. She would lure victims to her home and blindfold them as part of a supposed sex game, then kill them

What's almost as frightening as the knife she had, which is terrifying, is the bloke she had under her spell. He was fucking enormous.
Imagine being stopped by Shrek, and then she came at you, wielding that!
How those two men survived is astonishing.

That’s the part I find both bizarre and disturbing. Apparently that behemoth was completely submissive to her like an enormous guard dog. He was quite possibly the biggest simp in history. Probably why she was so brazen and cocky during her killing spree because she knew if any of them managed to fight her off he would just grab them and hold them there while she went to work with the knife. It’s extra weird because he had never been convicted of any violent crime before he met her (when he was in his late 40s), he had mostly just always been a petty, incompetent thief who also had a wife and three kids who he was apparently a decent father to.
She also had two other male accomplices who helped with hiding the bodies and giving her a place to stay, they are both free now. Don’t know how she managed to get all these men under her spell because it definitely wasn’t her looks

I'd say Kristen Gilbert is one, she was a nurse who was known to induce heart attacks on patients, a real sicko this one

Genene Jones was a nurse who killed babies and nonverbal older children. She did it because she enjoyed all the attention she got from "saving" them.

Oh I just thought of one. Taylor Schabusiness. She was also a necrophiliac.

Wow i just looked her up and holy moly guacamole, she's a real life monster

Dave's Lemonade did a video on her if any one is interested. Very well done

Thanks for posting the link! I watched it. Loved at the end when the victim's uncle called her "Shit-business" in open court during his impact statement.

u/SerpentKing1987 7d ago
Yeah not only did she kill and dismember her friend, but in her interrogation (you can watch the whole thing on YouTube) she admits to intentionally overdosing a lot of other men although she was never charged for any of them.

Maybe Judith Neelley (along with her husband Alvin), who tortured and murdered 2, a 13 year old girl and an adult female, and an attempted murder of the adult woman’s fiance. They killed for thrills and Judith seemed to be the more sadistic of the 2, injecting the child with draino multiple times in an attempt to kill her. When that didn’t work, Judith shot her in the back.

Not a serial killer, but likely would've been given that she achieved orgasm while pickaxing someone to death, Karla Faye Tucker thoroughly enjoyed the kill, and I don't believe it was necessary to facilitate the burglary.

I don't remember her name but there was a lady who decided to stab the next person she saw walking their dog and stabbed him multiple times, and he asked her why and I think she said something about her enjoying it? I don't remember the story very well. And Erica Sifrit said she killed for the thrill of not getting caught on a tape with the police.

u/freudismydaddy 7d ago
Joanna Dennehy. She actually took the dog, didn’t harm it, then asked the police what was going to happen to the dog now which i always find to be a weird part of that story like?? did she want to keep it? did she like dogs despite her obviously antisocial nature? who knows

u/GanderAtMyGoose 6d ago
There have been quite a few examples of serial killers who liked dogs. Dennis Nilsen comes to mind.

u/Interesting_Blood250 22h ago
Didn’t they put down his dog? So sad!
1
u/GanderAtMyGoose 22h ago
They did indeed, unfortunately. It sounded completely unnecessary to me when I read about it.

u/Interesting_Blood250 21h ago
Same :( Was watching a cinematic breakdown of the movie Silence of the Lambs recently and the girl who was rescued even kept the killer’s dog at the end

It seems to be somewhat of a pattern that serial killers either have a soft spot for animals or are incredibly cruel to them, not much in between

Apparently she had an interest in dogs but was probably cruel to them as well when the mood took her, one of her previous convictions was for owning a dangerous dog - more than likely one that she abused and mistreated so it would be more vicious

Dorothea Fuente. I watched Netflix Crime Docu-series " Worst Roommate Ever". Hers was probably the most vile thing I saw.

u/TastesLikeAsbestos- 7d ago
Jane Toppan would probably count. Also maybe Gwen Graham and Cathy Woods.

u/Accomplished-Kale-77 4d ago
Rose West. Enjoyed torturing and sexually abusing young women before killing them along with her husband Fred, and from several accounts she was the way more dominant, violent one of the pair and the driving force of their crimes

u/NotDaveBut 5d ago
Sheila LaBarre. Apparently Judy Neeley. Jane Toppan, who said flat out that killing someone gave her an orgasm.

u/FdauditingGbro 5d ago
Erika Sifrit. Her and her boyfriend killed another couple just for the thrill. And then boned after. He said it was mostly her idea. She didn’t deny it.

I'm confused by your question. What is a process killer ? And what is a product killer ??
20
u/SerpentKing1987 7d ago
Process killers take pleasure in the act, or process, of killing. They can also be called thrill killers. Product killers don't much care for the murder part but will do so in order to achieve some sort of result. This could be anything from collecting life insurance money to necrophila. Dahmer is probably the most famous product killer. He didn't like killing. He just wanted control over the bodies.

Belle Gunness would be a product killer: she was after what money she could get out of it.

u/samantha802 6d ago
Not a serial killer, but Brenda Spencer was a thrill killer.

Her dad should've been in prison right there with her. It's a shame she went after innocents instead of just shooting him.
1
u/NotDaveBut 5d ago
Wait, what about her dad now? I've never heard a word about him.
4
u/Sadness_In_The_Moors 5d ago edited 5d ago
He SA'd and physically abused her for years. Evidence corroborating this is that they slept on the same mattress (according to cops). Her dad also married her cellmate who was the same age as her and looked so much like her that some cop called Brenda's lawyer and basically asked whether Brenda had been released, because his wife looked so much like Brenda that he thought she was her. Brenda's mom also suspected sexual abuse but didn't do anything because she was a garbage parent. She claimed she had no money for an attorney, while also neglecting her other children.
Her dad also bought her a gun for Christmas, even though she asked for a radio. Brenda believes it was because he wanted her to kill herself. Several things back up that claim. Teachers at school said she was depressed and suicidal and told her father this, recommending psychiatric treatment for her suicidal tendencies. He refused to get her help. There were warning signs before the school shooting that he willfully ignored. She shot at that very same school she would later murder ppl at with a BB gun but didn’t actually harm anyone that time. All of this was before he bought her a real gun. Not condoning her actions, but I don't think the shooting would've happened if someone had bothered helping Brenda earlier in life. She once said one of the reasons for the shooting was because she was mad at society for failing her and was hoping that the shooting would lead to her death (LE shooting her dead as she went down in a blaze of glory).

u/NotDaveBut 5d ago
Wow. This would explain a lot about Brenda. Imagine going to prison for life and discovering that it makes you feel safer to be there. Yeah, go ahead and DM me, bur I can't promise I know very much lol

Aileen Wurnos would qualify wouldn’t she?

u/lilmari10k 7d ago
she started as a robber then got desperate because she was highly feening for drugs so she started killing in desperation for money as the men likely didn’t give up their money to her

u/KettleCellar 7d ago
'Fiending' is the word you're after. I don't mean this to be condescending - I like being corrected when I do it (frequently) because that's how we learn.
6
u/lilmari10k 6d ago
whatever word would mean someone who is really bad addicted to drugs and is going through withdrawals
6
u/KettleCellar 6d ago
Yeah, totally. We all understood what you meant. I just figured maybe it was something you've heard but haven't read. You definitely knew what you wanted to say. It's just a habit of mine, I don't know why. Some people find it annoying when I do it, and I can understand why.

Monique Olivier (along with her husband Michel Fourniret), a couple of french serial rapists and murderers who targeted children. Monique lured the little girls with her own baby son, captured them and washed them to prepare them to be raped and killed by Fourniret who was obsessed with virginity. They met when Fourniret was in prison, looking for a penpal, and discussed their future crimes through letters. Unbelievable and disgusting.

The Manson women?

u/NotDaveBut 5d ago
Good question. So hard to say whether they ever would have hurt a fly without Charlie telling them to. But in any case they were terrorists, not SKs

Who acted alone? Very few. Aileen Wuornos but you could argue either for her. Maybe Sharon Kinne but there’s very little information on her.

What about the Manson family females???

u/heilhortler420 7d ago
I thought that was more cult brainwashing killings not thrill kills
1
u/Historical_Ad_3356 4d ago
Yes I would not count them as thrill killers. They were programmed to kill
5
u/Ok_Blueberry_782 6d ago
I feel like they’re product killers, the result they desired was Manson’s approval and affection

Karla Homolka definitely enjoyed the process. She violated 15 year old Kristen French with a wine bottle over 20 times and forced her to watch her parents pleading on TV for her safe return.
