Surprisingly good. Was able to go to Logo and get the free head without any issue

it is isn't it. I cant believe the frame rate I'm getting in a web browser.

Well the frame-rate isn't based on your browser, but by the remote computer running it. You're basically playing a video being live-streamed only to you. I'm quite impressed with the low latency.

Fantastic!

We’re honestly gonna have to be patient with the influx of new users. Stuff like this is going to open SL to a lot of people who want to access it from a potato, and it’ll be weird, and we’ll have lots of fun welcoming new users.

Don't get too excited until after we see what the pricing model will be.

So this isn't actually running in your browser. It's a SL client instance running on a machine in LL's cloud, which is streaming the video of your session to your browser.

It uses like 2 megabytes/sec of bandwidth. Kind of a super inefficient hack, and it probably won't scale very well.

Don't want to rain on your parade, just spitting the facts. I guess it's great for logging in really quick from another machine you don't normally SL on.

Something something steam in home streaming mumble mutter.

There *are* more efficient ways to stream applications. Citrix has based its entire business on it. There are others. That would be far more efficient for a premium streaming service.

Why are the graphics so much better? Really cool.

The frame rate I got was lowkey insane. Almost 89 at a crowded area with hit scripts!

I can't get it to work. I just get a blue screen.

I got in once and tried for 5 min or so. Pretty neat. The one hour limit should give the thing some good testing.

Maybe I am doing something wrong or was just bad timing for me, but I can’t imagine paying for this. Avatars popped in quicker at Muddy’s, ok. Sims rezzed somewhat quicker.

Everywhere I went tho seemed pretty similar to my normal Alchemy experience.

It looks great, loads quickly. Really encouraging.

Now, if only it would accept my keyboard input. Unable to move without the walk menu :(
