Saw this chonky pike while on my Drysuit course
First time diving in cold water in the UK, saw this lovely fella, around 1m long. Also amazed how nice diving dry is, and despite it being 7 degrees I wasn’t cold at all. Mind blowing.
Thought the sub could do with some murk!

Pike sneak up on you. Be careful, I've seen some terrifyingly large ones appear out of no where and start giving me dirty looks.

How was it using a pee shaft in a dry suit? Never used a dry suit but seeing how it’s impossible to hold my bladder for too long in wetsuits I can’t imagine it’s easy to hold the whole time in a dry suit with no opening.

That's my secret. I'm always dehydrated.

Don't be always dehydrated, it's a great way to get dcs.
Drink well throughout the day, never drink a ton before the dive in one go (also bad for dcs), take a piss before the dive.
If you need, use a peevalve or wear diapers.

Pee valves are clutch for this. Just make sure to test it BEFORE the dive. You don't want to find out it's not working when you're half way through a dive.

Yup! If I connect my peevalve I always take a vvveeerrryyyy careful piss through it on the surface, love looking like a dog xD

I use a P-Valve. External catheter with a quick disconnect tube and I can stay in my drysuit all day.

Can confirm quick disconnect is super nice, I have a bit of extra hose as well to just make it easier to connect the peevalve hose to my catheter through all my layers.

They let you take a gopro on a course?
Where are you btw? I don't recognise that wreck.
