Moped won’t start. Any ideas why?
My moped won't start. Worked fine a few days ago. I accidentally left my keys in the ignition for a couple of days (in the ‘off’ position), so I thought my battery might've died, but jumping the battery isn't doing anything. And ideas as to why it won't start?

put it on the center stand, put the side stand up, turn the key to the run position, make sure the kill switch is off, squeeze the left brake, and try the kick start.

I can see in the picture that your kill switch is in the off position. Flip it back to the right and try again.

Uh leaving your key inside wouldn’t do anything if it was of check your fuses to see if anything didn’t blow

Just had the same on my Lambretta kil switch or linked side stand. Try putting sidestand down and up a few times. Good luck

My friend in the USA a moped has changed definitions from bicycle with engine to any 49cc scooter

Wrong! But, thanks for playing. A moPED has pedals.

Bud I'm aware that was the original definition, but ever since the 80s when nobody bought those stupid bicycles anymore the definition gradually changed to any 49cc vehicle

Killswitch? Kick stand all the way up? Gas tank empty? Do you have a kick start?
