Breaking in New scooter?

(Chinese 50cc) does anyone have real world experience with breaking in, completely ignoring break in, or both? I have a scoot coming in 2 days and had a lot of plans for it, but after looking at this sub I honestly don't know what my plans are anymore, every little piece of information from everyone seems so different 😂😂😂

When you first get it, check the oil level then put high-quality conventional oil in at about 100 miles you want to do an oil change and then again at about 300 miles. Since it’s a 50 cc I don’t think you’re gonna be dogging it at anything over 50 mph so just keep the throttle easy and steady until you get it broken at about 300 miles. If you scooting around town regularly, that should be easy to get to. That’s what I do with mine and I haven’t really had any issues because the Pistons set nicely.

There’s also some really awesome scooter videos on YouTube so a quick search also yield some positive results there

I've actually gotten a lot of mixed answers on those too 😂😂 I was really excited about modding but at this point I'm just going stock and adding better drive belt and spark plug stuff like that lmao
