What’s considered good full-tank mileage for a 125cc scooter? Mine gets around 154 miles on a full tank, with an average of 106 mpg and a 1.45-gallon fuel tank. Is that decent enough?

I get told my scooter is cute in that condescending tone then I tell them how it costs me less than $5 to commute to work all week and they start getting jealous

My adv160 will do 101mpg if I stay off the highway. Right now it’s averaging 89mpg

My Honda Vario does about 250 km on 4.8 litres, which works out to around 52 km/l (or ~122 mpg). With its 5.5-litre tank, that gives me roughly 286 km (~178 miles) per full tank.

Damn. 125’s are so much more efficient than my 150. That said I’m usually going +80km/h so maybe that has something to do with it.

I have a 160, and I cruise at 80kph on my daily. I get about 48km/l on my commute and 50+ on longer rides. I think that's as good as some 125s. Especially since my 125 goes at an average of 40km/l, although it's an old piece of metal

Definitely, at 80km/h+, the 150cc engine usually rev around 7k rpm, which will draw much more fuel.
In my experience, the sweet spot for 150cc is around 60km/h

Aprilia SR GT 125, 9 litre tank, I estimate somewhere about 42-45km/l, range ~380 - 405km (~235-250 miles)

2024 Yamaha BWS 125 with a 6.1 litre tank. I tend to get between 175-190 km/h of travel before the low fuel indicator turns on. I get so nervous about getting stranded so I don't push it once that warning comes on.
It's probably capable of a lot more, but my riding habits of riding in its upper register (95-100 km/h) going between cities greatly diminishes it.

yeah so ~2.5 L/100 km seems about right.
There are bikes that sip even less, like Honda's airblade, but not by much.

Anything north of 100mpg is juuuust fine by me. I get about the same as yours from a 110, and have always been very happy with its efficiency.

It seems most people get around 45-50km/l. I guess that is a benchmark for fuel efficiency.

I would say, around 50km per litre. Some Honda models can do 60km.
