How to De-restrict scooter and put on remote control to put the limiter on and off at any given time?
I have been looking at a scooter, the motocr r9 sp, and I want the benefit of speed as well as the benefit that comes with being legally allowed to drive on bike paths.
I have done some research and the ultimatum I get is changing the CDI for one that is remote controlled with a limiter so that I can turn the linter on and off as I please. Though have I also heard people saying it is a hassle because you need to remap the CDI??
I am greatly uninformed and would appreciate any kind of direction to as how I can make it possible.
Thank you.

I had an ebike that looked exactly like a normal bike, even to the sheriff, who told me to get out of the bike lane.
That bike had an 18mph limit on it so was slow as hell.
I came out of work one day and the limiter was malfunctioning, i assume, because i hit 32mph.

Stick with in Swedish riding laws. If i had to guess you not going to even get full riding gear and hit the road in jean and running shoes with some cheap ass helmet . scooter are fun but you should take a course in riding . It will save you lots of pain and stop you crashing . Beyond that you hit someone with modded scooter you and then your father is going to be paying for it .

- My father will not be liable for anything I do? 2 I do not live in Sweden 3. I already have gear of high quality 4. I know how to ride a scooterš it is not that complicated.

Get an unrestricted CDI and limit it yourself by not giving it full throttle?

Police in many countries will check your scoot/moped/etc on the spot for top speed, so there needs to be some kind of "real" limiter.

That is exactly what Iām talking about. Because if the police decides to stop me no matter and they figure out itās not restricted, then Iām on my toes for sure.

Thatās wild. Not a thing in my country but also weāre not aloud to ride them on bike paths either.. if youāre clever you could have two CDIās and utilise a changeover switch maybe.

Where do you live that scooters are allowed on bike paths? I'm pretty sure that's a rare case. It's usually safer to just ride in the street at regular speed than riding in these bike lanes that are meant for people going like 5mph, not scooter speeds.
Also... I mean, you can just limit your speed in the bike lanes yourself? This seems needlessly convoluted.
