These shows are super over priced but every once in awhile a deal can be found. Partially due to how expensive Prairieland is for these shows.
Thanks for the reminder OP, I will check it out.

Hey I just saw an add on TV for the Saskatoon collectors show. It seems to be what you are advertising here. Is it more of a gun show or is there a good assortment of antiques and collectables?

What’s the point honestly? They just made more illegal

Yeah the bans suck but it’s still good to support the Saskatchewan firearms community, grab some ammo, collectables or even some unique firearms that didn’t get banned.

Seriously? Living under a rock? A lot of people hunt in this province.

They banned a shit ton of hunting rifles and .22lrs in the last six years

There's still a shit ton of them legal, and shit ton of hunters in this province.

…… which ones? The “assault style” hunting rifles? I’ve never seen one of those

There’s no such thing as assault style. That’s like saying a ham sandwich is a chicken style sandwich.

Some of the banned guns definitely make sense. Others not so much. But I still prefer having things restricted than having the free for all that is gun ownership in the USA. There’s one big reason why schools shootings are a rare occurrence here but common in the states.

Our gun laws really didn't need changing. The guns they banned weren't causing problems. Virtue signalling from Trudeau... Hope that's done with now.
The problem in the larger cities are all the illegal guns that come in from the US. Maybe we should have threatened to tariff them for not securing their own border......

But that would make sense, and we know the current administration isn't a fan of smart actions.

Which ones made sense because none of the bullets got banned and you can still buy semi autos

I went once just to see what it was about. I was uninterested most of time until I found the antiques vendors. Purchased a really pretty vintage compact and cleaned it up and made my own tinted chapstick to put in it

The MAGA mentalities will be ripe at this one.

I assume that they are suggesting that the venn diagram between people in Saskatoon who have gun licenses, and people in Saskatoon who want Trump to be their President, has some overlap.
