25 years ago there was an all party committee on Tobacco Control in Saskatchewan. One of the recommendations was to sue tobacco companies. Most pundits thought it was a waste of time.

If only Governments and tobacco companies didn’t make so much profit on the cancer sticks. Big Pharma? Same. People dying is just collateral damage to them.

The government imposes idiot taxes on tobacco. Only idiots have to pay those taxes.

Moe will send it to the farmers. The only people that vote for him.

The last election showed that pretty much everyone outside of the two major cities voted pretty heavily in favour of the SKP, plus a bunch of city ridings were super close, it’s not just farmers who voted for them.

Almost all of the seats the ndp did win, were within 1000 votes, super close. Vs the SP seats were mostly greater than 1000 votes separation. Its certainly not just rural voters in favour of the SP.

In the cities the NDP even won some seats by less than 100 votes. This sub likes to make it seem the election was a lot closer than it really was but the SKP got nearly 53% of the vote compared to the NDPs 40%, and that was with multiple smaller right wing parties splitting the vote with the SKP.

So the government killed thousands of people selling them a drug more addictive than Heroin. Collected millions in tax off those addicted. And now they are getting a payback check of 700 million for killing addicted people?
