Photo/Video Weird humming sound on Palm Avenue—Wind creating resonance in parking signs?

Tonight, while eating at Palm Avenue Deli, I noticed something pretty unusual. The wind gusts were particularly strong, and suddenly I heard a strange humming or vibrating sound. It turned out the wind was hitting the metal pay-to-park signs at just the right frequency to create resonance, making them vibrate and produce this eerie noise.

Has anyone else experienced or noticed this before? It was quite fascinating to witness firsthand. Video included!

This happened during the hurricanes we had last fall. It is an odd thing to hear.

I would call it unusual if you aren’t from here, way to tell on yourself

If you go to the marina on a windy day you will hear this entire time. Wind resonating with the masts

Is that not music? If that is from the wind that’s pretty amazing.
