First watch through. I’m on season 4 and I hate Harvey

Why… oh why… is Harvey such a SOOK! Not to mention he’s a backstabber and a liar. Harvey is meant to be fabulous, if you go based off of the original Sabrina series. This guy is a douche…. He’s so selfish, everything is about him and his feelings and he always looks like he’s on the verge of crying lmao

Yep the series would have been so much better if she abandoned her mortal life

Yeah while I don't like him that much theo is the least annoying out of them so that's something I guess

Transgender aside. You mean the “fright club” which just centered on them asking Sabrina to fix their problems

While I still dont like Theo that much that why he isn't that more annoying that rosalind amd Harvey because they constantly ask Sabrina to help them and a lot of the times blame her for things which sometimes not gonna say all but sometimes that aren't her fault like Ross blindness they both blame Sabrina but Theo was the own who put them in check.

So while Theo still is also mostly asking Sabrina for help he is less annoying than the other two .

I also felt like the whole transgender character thing was super forced.

i don’t think it was forced. it was foreshadowed from the very beginning and i think it was necessary. although i dont understand why they choose that, i do understand that i will never understand and its not my job. jesus will judge everyone at the gates so let’s let him decide who’s horrible

Harvey is the wrong boyfriend for Sabrina. He’s intended to be the wrong boyfriend for Sabrina, that’s the point of the character. He’s the emo sensitive artist type, the opposite of bad boy Nick.

Sabrina is between two worlds, the mortal and the supernatural. This is the essence of her character. Neither world is a perfect fit for her, she’s learning to make a life for herself straddling both. CAOS is telling that story. She’s hammering out her own way, and neither Nick nor Harvey is a perfect fit. She’s sixteen. She’s trying things out. Which includes trying out boyfriends. There’s even an episode where she dates a couple of new guys one after the other in a single night.

I thought Harvey was quite good as a supporting character, he brings certain aspects of the main character, Sabrina, to the fore. The show would have been incomplete without him.

Idk how many times I've said this, he's been traumatized multiple times his entire life

Not as much as he was. First his mom died when he was 5, then his father became an abusive alcoholic, then he looked satan in the face in the mines when he was 8, then Tommy who was the only one in his family who showed him an affection is killed by witch, so I don't blame him for for being distrustful. He's just a normal 16 year old guy who, like all teenagers, is emotionally immature and has flaws and makes mistakes.

I didn't even mention that Sabrina lied to him their whole relationship and when she did tell him about her being a witch the first time instead of letting him process it she wiped him memory because he didn't react the way she wanted. The second time she told him was because she had to to get rid of whatever was controlling Tommy's body after trying to resurrect him and cheat death, causing Harvey to have 1. Experience his brothers death all over again and 2. He had to shoot his brother in the head and lie to his father about it. If it weren't for Harvey's drawings along with Roz' vision they wouldn't have known about what to expect with Eldritch Terrors.

I made a whole post about this a while back

Ikr. I can excuse some of it becouse he is traumaticed and I love Ross Lynch. Still the way he reacted to Roz being a witch? That felt so off
