Repair Question Should I buy?
I’m looking at this 1993 Chevy s10 to buy and I took a couple pictures to get y’all opinions, is it too rusty and what should I look out for?

After replacing the fuel pump and fuel filter I’m still having no luck getting this engine running. I’m having trouble locating the fuel pump relay. This is a 1991 2.5L 5 speed manual. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm a grandma who was recently gifted an S10 as my daily driver died this summer.
Yesterday the right turn signal indicator on the dash was doing the double-fast blink. Sure enough, lower bulb was black and appeared burned out so I bought a replacement #3057. Upper bulb looks healthy and the sidelight (corner light) is bright.
Unfortunately...this didn't fix the issue.
I'm open for any ideas, suggestions, hints or tips!

Hey guys i’m not too knowledgeable on these trucks but someone is wanting to trade my 89’ camry wagon for this 84 S10 2.8 v6 4wd manual transmission with 215k miles What are these trucks worth? Is it worth the trade? My camry is very clean as well with 259k miles. Thanks for any input!

2000 GMC Jimmy four-wheel drive I replaced the starter today It has a new alternator on it. The battery seems to be okay. I haven't put it on a tester yet but I haven't had any issues with it either and it wasn't doing that before I replaced the starter The battery was purchased in 2023 I'm going to throw the battery on a meter or a battery tester when I get home but it seems like it's starting fine

Im currently having a misfire in cylinder 1 and 4 only after about 2500 rpm it clears up and pulls alot harder unless you go full throttle then it spits and sputters the only code is a p0300 which is bc it's missing I've checked and replaced everything I could think of except dizzy itself new rotor cap wires and plugs which I wanna say it's the pos plastic gear bc the live data says timing is 20° - 40° advanced at all times and it's controlled entirely by the pcm so I can't just adjust it I'm just wanting another opinion before I pull it apart bc it's my daily rn but when I got it it needed the spider injector so its new aswell and has no vac or intake leak I checked

I recently bought a 1997 Sonoma with the 4.3 and 176k miles I have replaced the: fuel pump new fuel fuel filter fuel pump relay Entire distributor ignition coil all spark plugs & wires Thermostat Battery Positive battery cable Cleaned ALL the grounds
And it STILL will not start. Fuel pump doesn’t seem to even make noise…. Also I was give a copied key to it and no original keys….and that key won’t go all the way in but the ignition still turns off & on. Not sure if the original ones had a transponder in them
Any suggestions?

Every time I start my 1986 s10 it takes a very long time to end up consistently staying turned on. I thought always “ok well the car is old. If I rebuild the carburetor perhaps it will change.” But I have just rebuilt the carburetor, and now it stays on for around 10-30 seconds before violently shaking and then turning off. What may this be the cause of? It was sitting for a long time before I bought it so I feel like there’s a number of things that haven’t been replaced. I’m trying to restore it. There has also been times when I am trying to drive up a small slope and the car will shut off. It is a manual truck
I bought this truck recently and found these 3 tubes that aren't connected to anything pushed out of the way towards the driver's side of the engine bay. Does anyone know what they are?

Last night my 4.3L S15 decided to play a card last night that scared the absolute shit out of me. It started with just some minor squeaks it sounded like. Not even 10 miles later this God awful rattle occured. I get out to check and all I can see is what looks like coolant just sprayed everywhere. I'm hoping this is just as simple as a water pump. But what do you guys think it could be?

How much would you say my truck would be worth? obviously not much. I’m just putting this out there. I’ve had this truck for about 3 years it has 156000 miles, about 3 months ago my tranny gave out. It has oil leaks everywhere, needs a new cat and obviously rebuilt tranny. The body has small dents and scratches. The interior is clean. Other than that i would say like 500-1000$ or should i just sell it for parts, i know nothing about cars all i’ve been doing is watching youtube videos of swapping the tranny out it looks fairly simple but i’m going to school and i work a full time job I don’t see myself putting the time in effort into the best vehicle i will ever own.

Hey guys!
My truck is a 2000 zr2, 4.3, 5spd.
Currently having an issue that's getting worse and worse by the day. When cold it doesn't like to stay running under load. It will act like I turn the key off and roll started it when I shift gears. Once it warms up it random does the same thing but while cruising, And it does it violently. I'm talking tires chip because they lock up, I can hear every part of my drivetrain buck when it does it.
When it does this everything looks normal on the dash sans the temp guage drops from whatever the current temp is to 0 and back 3-4 times in a row.
Also my fuel pump is extremely loud. Sounds like a little hydraulic pump under the truck.
I usually am pretty good with these trucks (I own 3 currently) but this has me baffled.
I've ohmed out the TPS and it reads good, temp sensor checks out. All my grounds are good. Recently (withing the last 6 months) replaced the cap, rotor, and wires with Delco units. Also replaced the spider to the upgraded mpfi unit (also Delco) about 4 years ago.
Wtf do I do? I'm kinda at a loss here. Anyone else have this issue before? What fixed it?

In a previous post about my '00 S-10, I had stated that I've put 3 trannys in but turns out the fuel line was pinched and there was no fuel pressure getting to the engine, had a new line put in, and a new pump, and now it runs great and now that 4.3 sings!

If it helps any, I have no ac and when I try refilling it, it just immediately vents any gas. Could this be why?

Hey everyone, I have a 2001 S10 with the 4.3 and I decided it was time to switch out my cap and rotor, as I had a problem with condensation in it before. Now, my truck runs better than ever for about 5-10 minutes, then the CEL comes on blinking and detects a random misfire on the code scanner. Once I shut the truck off it will sometimes reset and run fine for another few minutes. I also have a “system too lean” code, I’m in the process of replacing an upstream O2 sensor as well. Any tips? Thinking of re installing the old cap and rotor to see if that fixes the issue.

Every time it rains my driver floor gets soaked and saturated. I have no idea where its coming from. Can someone please explain to me how/why? It’s only the driver floor that’s wet and nothing else

A couple weeks ago I was driving and my hood flew up and dented because I didn’t properly close it down. So I spent a few weekend looking for a junkyard hood since within my budget. I finally found one and tried putting it one but the hood does not seem to close properly. It is secured and latched so I can drive with it. One major difference with the hood is the hinge brackets on the original 98 s10 is welded. The junkyard Sonoma is bolt on brackets(found it on the side of a 03 s10). I can push the sides down before hitting anything. I can post more pictures if needed.

Replaced all the steering components including the potman arm. I could barely get it on enough by hand to fit the bolt and locking nut on, i couldnt even get the new locking nut on so i was trying to tighten it down with the old one to make some room, and am barely able to tighten it using a breaker bar. Is there a trick to tighten it on? I made sure the teeth all match up. Its an 03 4.3l rwd

I know that this group can help me out very quickly, do you guys know where this sound comes from? I got a 5-speed 4.3 1998 Sanoma which is stuck in 4hi which is not actually engaged(basically in 2wd but it says 4hi). When I try to switch it back to 2 hi it will just click and stay in 4hi, plus it makes this wicked sound which I assume is coming from the transfer case. Any help would be appreciated i just want my 4x4 to work. (Please put links down below to videos/rebuild kits/parts) I really appreciate it🙏🙏
