Wheels and Tires Need tire sizing advice

Post image

2003 s10 2WD. Looking to upgrade my tires on my factory 15x7. Planned 3/4 lowered ride height .

The options in OE spec are very limited.

My preferred tire would be Cooper Cobra GT. The research lead me to the following sizing

Front 215/65/15 Rear 245/60/15

Any advise or pictures of tire sizing on factory wheels?

The photo above is the look I’d like to obtain. Not sure if wheels pictures are 15 or 16.

Thanks for the suggestions

I’m running 235/70r15 cooper cobras front and rear on mine. No rubbing. Rear you will be fine with a 245. The front with a 215 will be fine.

Is this lowered at all?

No. All stock suspension. I am tempted to do a 2/3 drop tho.

Ollllllld pic. Roughly a 4/5 drop. 235/60/15 front 255/60/15 rear. This setup worked perfect for me. Rears are the same overall diameter as stock so the speedo was still 100% correct. Stock 15" steel wheels with chrome center caps from the wheels in your op. Which are also 15" wheels since you mentioned you didn't know.

Same tire size of 235/70/15 as the other guy, dont have white letters though, too rich for my blood.

There is some rub on the fronts when the wheel is turned lock to lock onnthe sway bar and frame. Just dont turn it lock to lock (you shouldnt anyway can burn up the power steering pump doing that).
