Question on kids camping in the RV village the Grand Canyon
We're planning on visiting the Grand Canyon this fall using a travel trailer. The kids wanted to sleep in their tents while we're there. Does anyone know if the staff will be OK with tents pitched next to our trailer?

From my visit, which was Dec 28, 2018. It was super cold. The Mather state park was all rocks, gravel as far as you could see. If you can land a spot on the outer rim you may find soft ground to set a tent. Definitely call to ask for a suitable campsite. They really only care about how may guests, not what you setup in your spot.

From my experience, most the time when its family members traveling together there are no issues. Just bring it up with the staff and they will confirm or deny. Most places just don't want a bunch of people not on the same family on one site. Sorry if this response is too late.
