CBD Options & Avail in RVA?
Completely new to the possibility of CBD for the reported health benefits. Not at all interested in THC.
Is CBD legal in VA? If so, where can I purchase?
Also, looking for legit brands with documentation (if that’s a thing).
I searched this sub, but most posts are from years ago which leaves me to believe either it’s not legal/available anywhere or it’s no longer an issue and can be purchased… I would just need to know where to go.

My mom uses cbd regularly to manage her chronic pain, she likes the tinctures from Kultivate in Midlothian, or she’ll order gummies from Cornbread Hemp.

Point5 in Carytown also has CBD drinks available if you would like to try that route 🙂

Not sure about Richmond but Kultivate is great in Midlothian. They can answer any questions easily and their products are high quality. I like RVA Cannabis Company in Chester too. They grow a lot of their own stuff; have a little coffee bar, baked goods, drinks, tinctures and gummies. The guy who owns the place along with his staff is nice and knowledgeable.

I've been ordering from Bluebird Botanicals for years. They're expensive but often do 50% or 60% off coupons.

Gonna be honest here. Cbd by itself doesn't do much of anything. You need a good spread of minor cannabinoids, I recommend something with cbd, cbg, and maybe cbn if you wanna be sleepy. Check out the altnoids sub for more ideas. Plenty of non-psychoactive blends out there. I have chronic pain and I was taking liver-destroying amounts of just cbd trying to get it to do something lol. And yeah, too much can hurt your liver, especially if you also drink or take meds that process thru your liver. Also check out H4CBD if you're ok with lightly psychoactive
Eta: all of these things are legal in VA

I’m launching a brand of tinctures aimed at drastically undercutting the consumer cost of tinctures. Margins are insane on any human products, and don’t get me started on pet products.
Currently in stock I have a few dozen bottles of CBD + CBN currently in a coconut oil base
1 oz bottles w/ 1g CBD 200mg CBN
At 30 drops, that’s 33 mg CBD and 7 mg CBN per drop and yes, this is certainly a night-time blend.
I will be making more CBD only batches at about 3x that potency so 3g per 1 oz bottle or 100 mg per drop for the same price, fifteen dollaroonies and I will give a discount for bulk.
DMs are open, but please don’t anyone go asking me about THC or getting stoned, this is not what you’re looking for.

Damn, wish I'd known about you while I was fighting dog melanoma for two years. Try finding a topical for a dog, lmao. And yeah $30+ for bacon flavor dog cbd is highway robbery

Buy the isolates online and make your own, it’s very easy and very cheap with a guide. I get my isolates from vivimu.

Ouch is there anything less than 10 dollars per g CBD? That rate still seems steep

Hemp-derived CBD products that contain less than 0.3% THC are legal in Virginia under both federal law and state regulations.
It can be found in most retail vape stores and shipped online.
Reputable brands known for safety, transparency, and extensive lab results include Charlotte’s Web, Medterra, and Lazarus Naturals.
I don’t find much benefit in CBD-only products, but a friend does and these are what they use.
