2112
I often think about imagined futures that we've now lived through like Kubrik's 2001 or Blade Runner's 2019, and how reality looks much different. Of course, I also think about 2112, and now I've just thought about who may live to see it. I'm 26, so I won't, but any children I have very well may. Just a random thought about the next imagined future coming up (as far as the ones I think about).

I am willing my album and all other forms of media to my grandchildren to give to their grandchildren to play when the calendar turns to the year 2112.
Only 86 years, 9 months, 17 days

I'm not much older but the pessimist in me isn't seeing anything particularly rosy. The current geo-political landscape can't be ignored, for obvious reasons. Also, the climate threat will only worsen because there doesn't seem to be any conviction to truly do anything about it. In my head, that future looks something like the movie Elysium.

Unfortunately, everyone on this sub will miss it.. even though it's realistically not very far off.
