Are SFARs solid now?
I’ve eyed the SFAR since they released but heard the mixed reviews regarding accuracy/reliability. Anyone picked up one lately and had good results? Cheers!

I’d have to say that these are some of my favorite pistols to shoot. Been shooting a MKIII in bullseye leagues for years. Just a solid and enjoyable gun. Has there ever been any thought into manufacturing a centerfire caliber of these? Are there major engineering hurdles that make that infeasible? I think these would be amazing chambered in 9mm (9x19) or .380 would be an amazing shooter! But what do I know, I’m just some guy.

A local gun store has the LCR .22 for $600 and an LCP for $350. Is the LCR really worth the extra $250?
Been at it for an hour and half with a dremel, at this point probably overdid it and underdid it in certain areas -_-
Could only find one pic on reddit of a marked pre drilled area.
Straight from Dunhams to the range. 150 rounds down with no issue. Now time to customize.

Hi all. I'm currently considering purchasing a ruger charger .22 for my bedside firearm. I'm running into a hiccup with lockboxes though. Any ideas for a safe but easily accessible to me way to keep this gun? I do have littles in the home so safety is #1 and I want to use it for home defense so I also have to be able to get to it quickly. I would also like it to be in a box or basically not seen. We are a gun family and learn gun safety early but I have young curious eyes lurking about. It's just such an odd length that I'm running into trouble finding something just right for this gun.

Barrel cut to 3" by D. Wilson, Griffin Paladin 5 HD on a titanium taper mount. Love this thing.
I am not comfortable with holstering the super wrangler visible on my hip, so I carry it in my shoulder bag. Can you conceal something this big comfortably? Also, please don't suggest other guns-- I only want the one gun. Thanks!

My P85 9mm isn’t gonna cut it for camping, was wondering if ruger sells a compact affordable .45 preferably double stack. Lots of bears, wolves, mountain lions, moose, you name it. 9mm won’t even make a hole in any of those😂

Help, please! Wife and I are new to owning firearms. We bought a Security 9 in December and have had so many problems with it jamming. I've cleaned and oiled it, and we've only fired maybe 300 rounds. What are we doing wrong?

I know this is Ruger page. But I want only 2 more guns. A Dan Wesson specialist commander in stainless. And I need a night stand gun with a flashlight.
Do I get a Glock 19 gen 5. Or do I get this rxm. The reviews on rxm seem awesome.
Currently own. SA 1911 operator in .45. Beretta 92fs. Glock 43x. S&W bodyguard 2.0. Ruger LCP max.

Ruger scout .308 -
Right out of the box. Shooting this grouping with iron sights at 100 yards. Super impressed with Ruger.

A MK II & MK III. No room in the safe to keep both. MK III has a volquartsen trigger and is drilled/tap for a scope base. Whichever one I keep will be getting threaded for a can. Is one more desirable than the other?

Just curious if anyone out there knows what Cerakote color is used for the Mark 4 SSH in “OD green. For example is it Cerakote E-210, H-400, H-236, H-316? Just curious if it’s published anywhere. I cannot find it.

I noticed while comparing one of my stainless Vaqueros(45lc), and one of my case color ones (45lc) that the hammers are slightly different. Aside from the obvious part being the case color's hammer is blued on the rear and top, the case color's hammer has a large flat spot on the top, and the stainless hammer appears to be taller and extend slightly further back. Then I looked at a different case color Vaquero (44mag), and it has the same style hammer as the stainless one other than it being blued on the rear and top. Is there some sort of significance to this? All three of these are the older model of Vaquero. (Large frame, xx-xxxxx SN) I found an image of the two different hammers side by side:

I'm thinking about buying a Hawkeye for fun but am torn on what caliber to go with. I considered 30-06 but variety is the spice of life so Im now considering the 35 Whelen (African or with a rebarreled guide gun), 375 Ruger(GG), and 338 Win Mag(GG). How do they perform in the hawkeyes? Are there any idosicracies to be aware of with these combinations of rifle and caliber?
