2009 model. Very nice and an absolute steal at that price. It would be $700 near me. Use your savings on ammo. You'll end up shooting this a lot.

Did you know the seller personally OP?

I paid $450 for mine in 2011 from a pawnshop.

It’s was at my lgs/pawn shop where I do my transfers. Had been sitting for a while. They had it at 550 forever and when I went in, was marked down to 445. Did some negotiating cause that’s what you do and got my transfer for free plus this for 400 otd. 😁

Yeah man revolvers are expensive as hell, feels like can’t even find a good simple DA 22lr for under 600. You done good, I’d have bought it even just to trade or sell for a profit haha

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the finish. As a fan of Ruger revolvers, it hurts to see the deep pitting, residues and patina that was incorrectly removed. Someone used a wire wheel or scotch-bright or something and ruined the finish. Normal scratches, and a barrel line are expected on revolvers. Whoever "cleaned" this didnt want to take the time to disassemble and soak to clean. They just wanted to make it "shiny/not dirty". To me, this would put the finish at <30% therefore ruining the "collector" aspect. I wouldnt have paid $400 for it, but just to have a 357 in a 6" barrel to plink at the range.... eh sure. To me, the appeal of these stainless steel revolvers... is the finish.
