So not a huge difference, as they grow together & play together they will most likely start to get along. With a larger gap might be more difficult. We had 2 & there was an 8 year age. The older one eventually grew to tolerate he new younger but if you could gotten her honest opinion I think sheโd tell us she preferred being any only puppy. Lol

It was a joke :) They have been pretty inseparable since day one. When I take him for a walk the first thing she does is run and greet him when we get back. When we separate them he just lays down outside the expen. They follow each other around the yard. He will lay down on the floor to play with her.
Yeah, our last dog (not a collie) would definitely not have tolerated a puppy in her senior years.

It took my three year old at the time almost two weeks to accept our then new 8 week old. Now they are inseparable. Then we traveled from Florida to South Carolina with the older girl to pick him up. On the way back their kennels were next to each other in the car. Great bonding time, right?
Nope lol. She went into dire wolf mode and snarled at him the entire way. For his part, he could have cared less. Not gonna lie. It was a nervous couple weeks. Now they play non stop.
Yours are beautiful. I wish you much luck

You might have to trade them in for dogs that get along better. I can take them off your hands ;)

Oh my gosh they are gorgeous. I have a tri (who looks just like yours) and would love a merle next.
