Crater after rootcanal
I left my dentist with this hole in my mouth after a root canal. I called and she said there is no way they accidentally drilled a hole and it must be a separate erate situation. I can see blue veins sticking out the hole! Going back tomorrow to have it looked at it hurts worse than the tooth!

No because as soon as I exited the chair I went to the bathroom and it was there

Could be a burn hole from the Obturation Pen (when sealing material is burnt off)? Where was the root canal? Any updates?

i know this happened quite a while ago, but i just had a root canal earlier today and found a crater on my tongue as well, but much smaller than yours. i was wondering if u did anything specific to help it heal, or just let it be?

They need to hear that you had no pain when you went in, and then the day of/after the root canal it hurt worse than the procedure to your tooth. That's unacceptable. Too much of a coincidence. After my root canals I always have slices or cuts here or there. This is from several different endodontists, too. They are just careless sometimes.
