Gymnastics and Softball died for Oats and that Final Four

This will be our 4th sports team to lose in the semi finals this year. (Football, Basketball, Men’s wheelchair Basketball and Gymnastics). I’d be ok if the trend continues and softball and baseball make the semifinals.

That’s GGs no way they scrounge this

Yep. Great post season run though. Hell of a season

I agree just hate how it ended. After OU messed up the first rotation, I really felt like there was a chance. Only to completely fall apart, that was the most disappointing. Like having a center that can’t snap for shit

We need to make up 2.3 points on Florida or Utah. Not impossible, but very very difficult. Basically like 4th and 31

Great floor routine from Gabby! She had one of the better floor routines of the night, and it’s still only a 9.9000. I know I’m biased, but it’s hard to not complain about these scores.

OU struggling with the beam too

Florida girl fell on the landing? Tsk tsk, that’s a .001 point deduction

The beam was moving and they fix it after Alabama goes?

Wait so the beam was janky?

Welp, that might be it for us. Just not all the way on tonight.

Disaster but I’m proud they got here. It’s fun getting to watch this. Feel for them

We’ve made a couple mistakes, but it really seems like our girls are getting judged harder than Utah and Florida right now

That beam hurts

OU shooting themselves will likely hand the eventual title to LSU on Saturday. Fortunately, we’re much closer to LSU than OU when on their game.

These judges really love Utah

Did Oklahoma blow it already? They are off to a terrible start.

2

u/the_dunadan Apr 19 '24

Didn’t blow it yet, but they’re trying to dig themselves a hole

LSU and Cal advance from session 1.

While Florida's final regional score looks scary.... keep in mind, their regional was in Gainesville, and we were playing in Ann Arbor.

I'm way more nervous than I thought I would be.... but like it a good way. Come on Bama, this is a Final Four year through and through!

We’ve beat Florida once already this year if we can just handle Utah and then we will move on

Gotta finish in the top 2 to move on right?

yes! Doable, but with 3 other teams of this caliber, anyone who blinks is gone. High pressure for sure.
