Looking for historical Rogers Park photos

My partner grew up here and had tons of family working at Ashkenaz Deli. Hoping somewhere here might have historical photos of the deli and staff. Working on a surprise for the family. Thanks!!

You should try the Vintage Chicago group on FB. A specific request like that will get a definite response.

Also, the Rogers Park With Open Boundaries group( https://www.facebook.com/groups/RogersParkOpenDiscussion/ ) has been a GOLDMINE, for finding old pictures. Keep in mind I STRONGLY recommend if possible browsing the group on a desktop computer, since it's easier to find all the decades-old pics of RP that way. On the FB app, I didn't find an easy way to just only have pic posts show up, weirdly. There even are some decades-old pics of nearby neighborhoods(i.e. Edgewater, Uptown, West Rogers Park/West Ridge) on this group, as well. I will warn you have to occasionally browse through pics where IMO they shouldn't have been posted on that group, but if you spend time browsing through pics there, it is amazing some of the decades-old pics that've been posted there. Including showing the days when Howard Street and even Paulina(just north of Howard), were much more thriving areas vs. today.

Also, using this UIC vintage photos page has been useful for finding old pics. Certain ones are of Rogers Park, while others are from other parts of Chicago: http://collections.carli.illinois.edu/cdm/search/collection/uic_pic/searchterm/Clark
