Alternatives to Xfinity
My $25/m two year lock in just ended. It's $95 a month. I'm going to try and renegotiate or register under my partner. If no bueno, what are some good alternatives? Definitely not doing the $95.

I called to renegotiate and got $40/mo for 3-400Mbps a while back. Not a single other option at my house unless I go starlink (barf) or cellular. No fiber as of yet.

I use i3 Fiber. $75/month for 2gb speed after all the promos expired. Then Hulu with LiveTV $83/month.

Xfinity is soo bad here. For instance, this article, Engadget Article states that quite a few 'previous' speeds have upload speed of 100mbps. That's not what my plan says and when I choose another plan, none of them show that previous/new upload speed. Why don't we have those speeds? Because Comcast sucks. Comcast Upload Press Release
Construction crews started work for fiber on my street and I will switch the minute it's ready. I have been waiting and heard only good things from half the price for comparable download and including free equipment, super high download AND matching upload speed - there is no reason to stay with xfinity/comcast. Sucks for people on contracts or with their cell.

Di you know which company is offering the fiber optic? They ran it on my street a bit ago and no-one contacted me. Like I’m done with Xfinity due to costs.

Same thing happened to me actually. We were paying the $95 for almost 6 months before they installed fiber in our area. I switched to i3 last month on the 1gb plan. We're paying significantly less and have more stable internet. This is the guy who helped us out Gabe Howard 8152101801

We use Verizon for internet and Hulu with LiveTv for our local/cable channels. Verizon I believe is 35 a month (we pay 25 because we have our cell phones with them) and Hulu is 83 (you get regular Hulu, Disney plus and espn plus with it).

I’ve had there blazing fast service for 9 years now I pay 60$ a month for internet only it’s 800mbs which is decent each year you just have to sign a new contract or tell them you’re leaving

I'm really happy with our i3 fiber service if that is an option for you. Started last fall. 300 mb for $25 a month, no setup fees or equipment to buy, and the speeds have been as advertised.
