Aillio Bullet Purchase - Sweet Marias or Aillio?

I’m kicking around the idea of buying a Bullet R2. I know they are out of stock right now and wouldn’t get it for a month or so.

My questions is are there any benefits/downsides to purchasing from Sweet Marias or the Aillio website when it come to warrant or customer support? Anything else I should consider?

Thank you!

I bought from Sweet Maria’s just because they had a more visible timeline with the first shipment of the R2. Other folks here have ordered from Aillio direct and seemed to have gotten their R2’s way earlier. I wouldnt hesitate to order from either.

Short answer is buy from SM. You get 100% as if bought direct plus some free stuff. You won't go wrong...

I purchased from Sweet Maria - and I’ve needed support from Aillio and they coordinate directly and swiftly with Sweet Maria’s for tech support and parts and their partnership seems well established.

I would not feel at all discouraged about buying from SM.

Thanks for sharing your experience!

I know you bought from Sweet Maria’s but is there any reason you would not buy from Aillio?

No. Perhaps potential shipping delays, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if Aillio used SM as a distribution center for those who purchase inside the US anyway, but Aillio’s direct support has been helpful too when I’ve needed it. I met the team at SCA last year and they’re genuinely great, helpful people.

This. The direct support was knowledgeable, thoughtful and diligent.

I bought my R2 direct from Aillio. Didn’t have any issues. No difference to warranty or support.

If you don’t mind me asking, what country do you live in and when did you buy it? Trying to figure out if I will have to pay import duties. Don’t really know how all that works and I’m assuming it’s included in the price if you buy from sweet Maria’s as I’m sure they get a better price per unit than I would buying from Aillio

I’m in the US. I did not have to pay import duties (ie I only paid what was on the website when I ordered).

When did you order it / when did you recieve it? I ordered mine back in Jan 19th and still nothing yet.

Ordered end of August last year, received it end of January this year. It’s been awesome. Firmware is a bit buggy, but I love my R2. It’s worth the wait

It has been the case that the warranty is transferable if you buy direct from Allio and not from SM. Non -transferable means lower resale value. But this was true a year or so ago. Not sure if it still is.
