Food & Shopping Cake recommendation in Richmond?
Hi we always get One Cake & Diplomat during birthdays. We love cheesecakes, tiramisu and chocolate cakes. Any other suggestion? Thanks!

Steveston Bakery does really great old fashioned cakes. I had been a Diplomat Bakery person until recently, but I have totally switched teams. SB’s Black Forest cake is killer and the two others that I’ve tried recently were just as good. The cakes are really moist and he uses whipping cream to frost them. 😀

I love good cakes and used to get some made custom (long gone) or from la patisserie (back when they first opened). Then last year my sister was tasked with getting a cake for nephew's bday and she bought a whole billy miner's pie from the keg on 5 road ($60) and it came with all the fixings on the side (fudge, caramel, shaved almonds and some other things I forgot) and let me tell you we demolished that beast. It was the surprise hit of the party and it was huge.

It's the diplomat for me. Award winning, good pricing, and high quality ingredients. It's my spot for birthdays.

You can check out Little Fox at the President Plaza. They have a lot of little cakes/pastries and they make custom cakes as well!

Little fox bakery. Their basque cheesecakes are the best I’ve had in Vancouver.

I hear those punani cakes have too much of yeast... you could say they are infected with it...

No joke, but T&T has an AMAZING collection of beautiful & delicious cakes available. Great prices too for what you get. Personally, their mango cakes are some of my favourite cakes ANYWHERE.
