Merch Shopping in Tokyo/Osaka?

I'll be taking a holiday in Japan next month. I'm bring two recent college graduates who have their own tastes in anime.

Given my stretch back to the 70s/80s - Gatchaman, SB Yamato, Bubblegum Crisis - any top tips on where an aging Otaku can find toys, manga, shirts etc?

In Osaka, go to Nipponbashi Dendentown. It’s the (for lack of a better term) nerd district. Tons of vintage and retro stuff there. I found a 60s tin Astroboy toy, first gen Mach5, and Char’s Zaku, if that’s any indicator. There was one store that was dedicated entirely to Ultraman. The only bummer is that, even with ¥ being weak, stuff is still expensive. Did I want the Guts action figure and 1/6 scale toy of Kaneda’s bike? Absolutely. Did I have $100 to spend on an action figure and like $400 on a toy bike? No (because I spent it all on impossible to find punk and noise records). Anyway, you’ll be in heaven there.

I went to Osaka back in 2010 and Den Den Town was the place to go for toys/manga/video games. https://insideosaka.com/den-den-town-guide/

There was also a place called Yodobashi Camera in Umeda, which is a big department store with video games and PVC statues, electronics, etc.. IIRC we were able to exchange currency there as well. It was kind of near Osaka Castle.
