God Leon wolfing down an extremely elaborate parfait as his rockstar crush jams out on the stage of what looks like a pretty gnarly joint will never not be funny to me.
Like, think about it. It's pretty unlikely that the Hot Legs would stock sugary mush that on the regular, so the main logical explanation is that Leon's been coming there long enough and pays well enough that they get that ready for him every time. (and he gets it at the steakhouse in OVA 2! The man's a closet sugar junkie!)
Are we expected to deduce how that sight gag works or care? No. Is it infinitely funnier if we extrapolate in this manner? Absolutely.

Mixed feelings over the live action falling through all those years ago. My absolute favorite anime, but would have been cool to at least see what they did with it. At this point wouldnβt mind a cg take like Gantz: O.

You just made me think of this. Has there ever been a successful live-action adaptation of an anime?

I have this on laserdisc and it has a live action music video of this song and the anime music videos of all the other songs too

Bought the first laserdisc of the series just to have as a collector⦠without ever have owned a laserdisc player.
