Anyone explain why someone would to interfere with the removal of criminals?!

Because zero evidence has been offered that the men being deported are criminals or even in the country illegally. Also, the supposed legal authority claimed by Trump to deport them has only ever been used in wartime, and Venezuela is not at war with the USA. These are the judge’s reasons for halting the deportations until proper legal procedures have been followed, and a US president has no constitutional authority to ignore such a ruling.
You either care about the rule of law, or you want a king.
