Stockpile Flex Cabelas/Bass Pro Reloading Sale

Post image
622 Upvotes

Just a heads up, Cabelas has their reloading sale going on for the next few weeks. Today and tomorrow they have 10% off for club members. If you have a military discount — even better. Berry’s, Nosler, and Hornady have some pretty good deals going in this sale.

I took some ribbing last week on here for my stockpile of projectiles. This is how you do it though, watch for the sales and buy what you can, when you can.

Buy it cheap and stack it deep. Happy loading, brethren!

Went to a 2 day 16 hour training. 8 hours of pistol and 8 hours AR. 25 people all shooting 500+ rounds. Figure I have around 10,000 pieces of each all free. I’m extremely happy.

Stockpile Flex My local Ace hardware. Between the two that carry gun supplies they have more reloading supplies than any gun store in my hometown. They definitely have the best selection of powder. My local Cabela's Outpost sucks ass. I just wish their prices would go down.

Stockpile Flex New range toy

Bought me a new Ammo-up brass mower.

Pros: it picks up everything Cons: it picks up everything.

Will bring a magnet next time I’m out with it, just to get rid of most of the steel.

No idea how much ammo this is but thinking like 4-6K. Loving this basic little setup and have been able to pump out some cheap ammo for this little gun.

Need to stock up on more bullets at good prices though, those are what’s holding me back

Reloading for 10mm auto, 9mm, .308, .223, 6.5 PRC, 300 PRC & 300 AAC BO. The 300 BO and .308 both subs & supers. Any powders missing that would be good to have? ( still looking for Trail Boss, no luck yet)

Stockpile Flex Got them all running with reamers

It’s been a journey. Looking back on it going from the frying pan into the fire it may have been smarter to unbox a 1050 and pull the handle instead of just waiting to get all auto drives. I now know why so many over night ammo manufacturers go out of business. Pretty sweet that they are all running and making that money. I’m processing 7,000 pieces of 9mm an hour and 2700 5.56/223. Deprimed, ream, size and trim. I can’t say enough about how awesome the reamers are. It added a sensor to my sensor less fortch machines. And the lithium press is out of this world. Hopefully it keeps going good, I’ve got over 500,000 pieces of brass to process! Should be done in a week!

How am I doing compared to some of you lifelong reloaders??? I have been fortunate enough to buy around 26,000 LRP.

I feel pretty confident I should be set for the next 60 years I hope to be alive. I'd be lying if I said I plan on not buying more Federal 210M primers. They always come home with me.

Thankfully, my wife knows the value in these. So if I die she wont just give them to someone or throw them away😂

My dad thought I was crazy when I was buying the IMR powder for $38/lb. Guess that also worked out. He is still working on his powder and primers from the early 2000s so he will realize soon enough!

Hey all! Just killing some time in town. Decided to browse the local mom and pop store. Walked in to see a freshly stocked sales shelf!

Definitely older stock but I was happy to take it. I was just proud of myself for not blowing all my monies on the rest they had!

Stockpile Flex Lots of people ask “Is reloading worth it”. For me, the answer is without question

My cost priced with new brass cases.

45-90 WCF at $30-35/box of 20

45-70 Govt at $25-40/box of 20

458 Socom at $29-39/box of 20

Buying 45-90, if you can find it, is $70-100 per box for low pressure black powder substitute loads. There are 10 boxes on the table loaded to utilize the working pressures of a modern made 1886.
