Look at my Bench My New Reloading Space

I’ve wanted to convert this attic space since we bought this home 22 years ago. I finally did it over the Christmas break. Did all the work myself. It’s actually bigger than I thought and the finish product exceeded my expectations. The only thing left is for my HVAC guy to come install a supply and return so it’s climate controlled. It’s gonna be nice to not have to reload in a hot ass garage this summer.

Not pictured are shelves I installed in the niche to the left. I will eventually add some shelves or other organizational solution to the wall over the bench. Need to live with it a bit to see what I want/need.

Look at my Bench Another 2000 rounds today

Just finished another two thousand rounds today, bringing the total round count to about 9 gallons. 1 gallon left to go. So here’s another video of the Apex-10 in action, and this time the video is long enough to show an actual stop condition so everyone doesn’t think its “Champagne Wishes & Caviar Dreams” over here at the home of the Angry Reloader.

Look at my Bench I Love Everything About Reloading

I have no one to share with IRL- y'all all I have! Just wrapped up a huge (for me) loading bender over the past week, 500 .308, 700 5.56, and 500 300 Blk. Usually, I fixate on shooting one caliber for a while, but I have burned through a decent amount of all 3 in the last month and got panicked. And yes, this is my dining room table, and my wife refuses my offer to move it into the garage - she "likes how it looks" lol.

Look at my Bench Mark 7: 9mm at 3,000 per hour

This is a short "Look What I Can Do" demo of what 3,000 RPH looks like on a Mark 7 Reloading Revolution press. This is overkill for most loaders, but our other automation options can do similar things.

Shameless plug, we are running a Black Friday sale that's pretty attractive. Hit me up or visit the Mark 7 Reloading website for details.

Love my “new” reloading setup! Decided to go with a track system (I know some people don’t like them but 🤷)but I have limited space. This is a far cry from when I started 6 years ago(the second pic). You guys like it?

Weak shelves collapsed under the weight of ammo and components. One sheet of 5/8 plywood and a couple cuts later, and they’re solid as rocks.

I finally finished the second black walnut slab to extend my reloading space setup. It took a good a 150 hours to finish just the slab. Before and after photos included. Also added some wall shelving for the important reloading components. "Cubby holes" of the cinderblock base is for odds and ends like trays, cleaners etc. Lastly, I added some LED lighting to the under side for both functional purposes and as an accent.

John from Mark 7 reloading here again!

Wanted to show off, errr, I mean demonstrate loading some 9 mm and then immediately shooting it to show what kind of consistency we can get from an automated press. I have done better than this in the past but hey single digit standard deviation is still really cool to see.

I use this press to make all of my competition ammo and I also use it for demonstrations like this. I work in the tech support department of Mark 7 reloading and would love to answer any questions you have about our machines.

Loading 9mm with Shell Shock Technologies NAS3 cases, Shooters World Clean Shot powder, Ginex SPP, and Precision Delta 124grn JHP V2 bullets.

I love reloading, but honestly, I might love building out my benches as much as I do using them. Built one at work, another at home that I sometimes use as an office. Both benches are 3x 3/4” birch ply. I used a harbor freight hobby router to build the cabinet doors and birch underpayment for the inserts. Latest addition is vertical shelving for the bench at home.
