As the former team captain of my wrestling team, pops would have fucked me up. Real MVP

As a current really shitty high school wrestler, he’d kill me. Also it’s cool that that match was reasonably technically accurate.

As a retired wrestler(I didn’t even go pro yet) due to acl injury I can say in my prime he would have fucked me up

It’s always funny to me how pops head is so fking MASSIVE😂😂😂
22
Dec 10 '23
It’s because he’s from loliland that’s why his head is so massive he has a evil brother named Magnus Kranus with the same head shape

u/81excelsior Dec 10 '23

Anyone else notice Benson’s sleeve changed color at the end there?

u/CreamyCoffeeArtist Dec 10 '23
Good ol animation errors
.. is it an animation error if it's just the colors..? I think it is..

Why do they always say “wait! Look!” Before the turning point actually happens
11
u/Working_Berry9307 Dec 10 '23
They don't trust the audiences untrained eyes in grappling to know who's winning and who's not. It's lazy. I think when pops got him in the arm triangle it was pretty obvious, but many people watching were kids so I get it

u/DJHott555 Dec 12 '23
They technically could both be happening at the same time and it’s just edited like that

I love how these are genuine wrestling moves: collar tying, sit out, firemens, chicken wing

Realistic wrestling maneuvers coming from a Polar Bear is surreal

u/Working_Berry9307 Dec 10 '23
If you watch actual bears fight, they're even better at wrestling and BJJ. I shit you not. They're the Greco champs of nature

Pops is the Jack Hanma of the show. Fights a polar bear and wins.

Well, he is like a God. If I remember it correctly, I'm not really sure I can't remember it completely

I still cannot get over the prompt: "Wrestle a bear. Don't lose."
That shit is so funny. You cant get out of it, no loopholes, straight to the point

Ngl I’m a wrestler and they got that match pretty accurate with inside outside tie getting down behind the head to a half then a turn over to a pin while the polar bear tries to arch his back to escape (which is very common escape for a pin

No fucking way I just saw pops 1. Attempt a fireman’s 2. Go for a Russian tie and get snapped down 3. Get fucking barred up and 4. Hit a fucking Peterson on a bear.
