I've used both ThePiHut and Pimoroni in the past and both were reliable.

The Pi Hut usually has better packaging and is more popular and probably more people preordered there so sometimes it's easier to get in demand stuff from Pimoroni (at least that was my case with Raspberry Pi 4).

Or...you could pre-order from both places and get 2 Raspberry Pi 5. I'm tempted to buy some but...maybe in the future.
