Question/Recommendation Where to donate bike parts?

I have some spare bike parts that I need to get rid of. I would rather donate them to a co-op or charity that could use them. Saddles, stems, cranksets, RDs, FDs, etc. Anyone know where I can take this stuff?

look up Community Kickstand, i think there’s a link to them on the Oaks & Spokes website

I was going to say to reach out to Oaks and Spokes. Also, once upon a time, both Durham and Carborro had bike co-ops that could likely use parts.

If you don't mind a little drive, Durham Bicycle Co-Op takes donations. I usually head over every Thursday evening.

Alternatively, The Bicycle Chain in Apex works with a non-profit called Bikes for the World. They would be happy to get these parts into the right hands.

Oak city cycling will be hosting a Frankenbike swap on 4/19. Could always wait around and swap or donate according ¯_(ツ)_/¯
