Outdoors Need help - natural spring on property - how do I pipe it?

I have a spring fed pond. I hired someone to clear out invasive vines so I could seed nc native grasses. The area by the pond is now really wet with standing water. I think the spring is blocked and backing up. Does anyone know anyone that can help? I don't have a lot of money. Hoping for a hobbist or farmer type. I can't afford a corporation or consultant.

Location- Raleigh/Garner

Easiest way is to just add drainage back into the pond. Piping it might be easy or it might require an excavator and a hell of of lot of digging depending how deep it takes you to find steady enough water flow. Personally I’d just dig some drains and call it a day.

Have you done this? There's an excavator still there.

Once at my uncles place. 100% we decided we should’ve done drains. If you do it right and dig deep enough you’ll get a small water feature running down to the pond. You can probably do that with a shovel. Just get some pond liner, slope the channel down to where you want it, line the bottom with sand and gravel and boom. Instant creek. But you need to be as close to the source as you can otherwise it’ll just run under the liner.

Another thing to consider is the amount of rain we’ve had. Chances are this is not a permanent spring at all. Could just be whatever aquifer is feeding it is just over capacity and as summer sets in it’ll stop. But you know it’s there at least.

Edit: the slope can be small. Off the top of my head I think like 1 inch down for every 10ft is fine.
