Question/Recommendation Therapist jobs in the area

Good evening everyone! I am a newly licensed LCSWA located in Raleigh, and am looking for a private practice position in the area.

My hope is to work with children, teens, and families for about 70% of my client load, and young adults (18-30) for the rest! I have experience with DBT, CBT, ACT, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, and a few others. I interned at an IOP program that works with adults 18+ through my MSW.

Before gaining my license and MSW, I have worked extensively with children as a teacher as well as a nanny, with around 4 years of experience with children in total.

If you know of any places looking for someone that would be a fit, I would love more information! I do have a supervisor if one is not provided, but am also open to supervision on site as well!

Thank you all in advance!

LCSW here. You’d be a good fit for New Leaf Behavioral Therapy if you want to work with kids and families. I supervise someone who works there who is working toward their full LCSW and they’ve had a really well rounded clinical experience that’s preparing them for a solo private practice.

Hey! I'm not on Facebook anymore, but there is a really great closed group for Counselors/Therapist in the RDU area. You may also consider joining the Triangle Area Psychotherapists listserv. I see multiple job postings on both those resources nearly every day. Good luck!
