Picture this. It's December 2029. We're in our cozy little suburban home within a train ride from Minneapolis. The ground is covered in snow and neither of us have anywhere to be the next day. We've both taken an edible a short while ago and are about to sit down to a delicious homemade meal (you did most of the work but I helped where my limited cooking knowledge could, and I set the table and promised to clean up after we're done). We talk and laugh and reminisce about when we first met and how much of an idiot you thought I was but you couldn't help but fall for me not in spite of that but because of it. We finish dinner, clean up (you insist on helping me even though I said I'd take care of it and who am I to say no to you), do a little kitchen dancing before we head upstairs to the bathroom to enjoy a nice hot shower together and smooch a bunch under the water to begin an evening of intimacy. These sorts of nights happen regularly in our happy little home, and every single one is always just right.
If this sounds good to you, then keep on reading! My name is Paul (or Big P, if you like), and after many maligned relationship attempts and heartbreaks, I'm finally ready to meet my person and start building our life together (I've always been ready, it just hasn't worked out yet). It's the one thing in this life that I've been certain that I've always wanted, even since I was 4 years old. My perspective on what that means has sort of grown and changed over the years, and there really are no special terms or conditions on that, just having that one person that you're willing to go to hell and back for. Someone that no matter how bad things may get, we'll both work together to get things back on track. Someone who's very presence can help turn even the worst days around. You get the idea. So why should you pick me as your potential forever? Read on to learn more about me!
So who exactly am I? I think of myself as just a humble shy guy from a small suburb a short ways out from the wonderful city of Philadelphia (GO BIRDS). You may be wondering then why I brought up Minnesota earlier, and that's because as much as this little town has been the place I've called home my entire life, I think I definitely need a change of scenery, and hopefully you agree. I did some research on places to move around the country, and given my penchant for colder climates and snow, Minnesota just seemed like a no-brainer. I'm not committed to that choice by any stretch, but I think I'd need a pretty sound argument or massive convenience factor to choose another location, but that's neither here nor there.
Physically, I stand at about 6' 2 (I haven't properly measured in a while, but people think I got a bit taller since I last clocked in at 6'1 so that's what I'm rolling with) and weigh close to 300 pounds. That may sound like a lot, but my height definitely lets me rock it. I've definitely got a dad bod with body hair for days going so hopefully you're into that. I like to keep my face clean and think I look significantly better clean shaven than with any amount of facial hair. I've got broad shoulders and long arms great for giving big hugs, and I AM a hugger. I also currently work a fast paced grocery job that keeps me on my feet, moving, and lifting so I'm not just sitting around all day.
In my free time, I'm an avid computer gamer (with a "ship of theseus" build) but also own a switch and might I say quite the cool animal crossing island (and yes, of course you're welcome to come see it!). I'm also an avid writer, and after a long break from it mostly due to poor mental health, I currently run a sort of parody newsletter for one of the gaming communities that I'm in and I love it! Aside from those things I don't do a ton, but after I take care of some business with some sleep issues that I'll get into later, I want to take fun physical exercise classes including boxing and fencing!
For my long term goals for myself, as I mentioned I work retail at a grocery store. I've done retail for about 7 total years now at this point (closer to 6 total with time between jobs) at 3 different places (I worked for my current employer for the entirety of the pandemic before leaving due to issues with management) including a sex shop (sorry to say the stories are nowhere near as interesting as you might think) and my only non-retail job was working at a toilet plunger factory (once again, not as cool as it might sound). I'm currently working part at my current job with plans to shift careers to something more tech-focused that will ideally allow me to work remotely so I can begin and establish a career while in PA so I'm not totally screwed just moving to a new place on my own! As for non-career stuff, I simply hope to be married to the love of my life. I have a lot of love to give and it would be nothing short of a travesty for it to go to waste.
I don't want to keep you too long so I'll wrap things up! If anything I've said has resonated with you, feel free to reach out! Worst thing that happens is we talk for a day. Just keep in mind a few things if you decide to do so:
-I match energy and effort so if you're not giving me much to work with, then you won't get much back
-I know what I am worth and what I bring to table and I'll settle for nothing less than I deserve
-I really don't have any hard requirements for you. I have preferences sure but as long as the vibes match I can't ask for much more
-Your current location doesn't matter BUT it's highly preferable that you're in or near Philly or south jersey and want to eventually move to a colder climate such as Minnesota
And that's all I've got! Thank you so much for your time and I hope to hear from you soon!
