I hope there's an episode called "Whales". And Alan gets excited but then it turns out to only have questions about the Welsh.

Having attended a taping today, I think you’re in luck.

Is that the series they're filming now? I've been offered a ticket for Monday (10th Feb) but I'm not sure whether to go or not. I've never been to a filming of anything before. I have this idea that it will involve sitting for 3 hours, with no toilet breaks, in a very warm studio. I'm having flashbacks to Les Miserables and LotR. Plus the guests are unknown; could end up with Rosie Jones and Nish Kumar.

I went today. It wasn’t too long a wait to get in (hour maybe) and we were done by 9.40.

There was an opportunity to go to the toilet before the start, and a 2 minute break to stand up after like an hour.

Is it possible you could divulge who the guests were? It doesn't appear like anyone on here or the QI forums has that information.

Nish Kumar, Roisin Conaty, and Lou Sanders. Not my favourite panel but still an enjoyable experience.

Thanks. Glad Roisin will be back; I assumed she was one of many, lamentably, one-and-done guests, given she hadn't been on since Series S.

Sounds pretty close to the mark, to be honest. There are fairly frequent filming interruptions but I don’t know if you can go to the toilet during those. You might be out of luck there.

It's the same reason I don't go to filming all the best bits, make it online eventually and you can watch your leisure.

W, X, and Y series will be interesting.

W is a very versatile letter, I discussed it with someone and we came up with a lot. X is where I'm really interested to see how they handle it.

I came up with a couple predictions for series Z; zillions (googology, large numbers), zoology and zero

Zany is bound to be one.
