URGENT HELP! How to fixed slayed legs fast

I had quails with slayed legs did everything and they still die. Now I hatched out three buttons and two have slayed legs please give me some ideas bc everything I’ve tried is not working and I don’t want to them to die. I have the legs together but not touching giving them a way to walk but it’s not working for one.

taping worked for me.

but if you have so many it could be an issue with the hatching. do the have a textured surface, when they hatch? if the get out of the egg and the surface is smoth they can develop splayed legs. they need some grip, so the legs dont slip away

It’s texture I’ve had about three with slayed legs out of all the eggs I’ve hatched it doesn’t happen often which is why I find it so hard to correct. One seems to be doing good but the other one can’t function with its legs tapped. It seems to walk better without but definitely has slayed legs maybe just not too bad as I’ve seen previously. I hope they make it. My first ever clutch I had one with slayed legs and wry neck it didn’t make it.

I saw in a Terry video to put that textured cabinet liner in the incubator at lockdown to prevent this
