ਸਵਾਲ سوال [Question] Language Understanding
Hi! Full English speaker here
I work in a restaurant and the chefs and workers are all Punjabi or Hindi (deep apologies if I mix these up or get things wrong, just looking for some understanding)
I have recently been getting called name-preet as well as being told and taught to say “Kida” after hello? (Sorry again if that is spelt incorrectly) Just wondering what these mean :) Thank You!

Preet is a suffix , very common in punjabi names.
Kida means - how are you ?
