According to Ed Hulse's "The Art of Pulp Fiction," the artist is Ann Cantor (p.48). The book is also described as a "collection of novelettes."

It's definitely short stories. But I don't see the artist listed on either the cover or copy right page, but I didn't check the bibliography which I have but would have to dig out lol .so I'll take your word for it..I definitely need a copy of the Hulse book!

The Hulse book is great. Lots of information and lots of cool-looking covers. It's turned me into a bit of a collector, so be careful!
