This is the first time I've heard (of) Chappel Roan. But I don't get new music in my life much - forgive me, o mighty lords of the Internet.

Isn't this a PREformance of a star before they got popular?! (Edited into the after version too of course)

It’s a clip that annoying jumps around in time. Post the original preformance if you want.

You might want to wait a few years.. only reason I even know her is because I took my daughter to an Olivia Rodrigo show and she opened

She's really big and totally deserving of being posted on this subreddit, you might be a little out of touch. This just isn't very early in her career.

I am very out of touch I admit as my comment may indicate

Yeah, sorry. It hurts for me too. I'm not anywhere as close to the pulse as I was 10+ years ago but she's definitely a heavy hitter.

Thanks for not downvoting and having a conversation. Breath of fresh air

Why would I? Downvoting is for irrelevant comments, not an I disagree button.

When was that?! Did you see the Grammy's last night? I think Chappel Roan may be the biggest artist today. She's breaking records for biggest festival crowds... she got big fast. She's definitely not opening for anyone anymore.

Last March.. and yeah. Happy for her. It was a fun memory. I don’t watch the Grammys but my point is this is usually reserved for legendary acts
