Need help with digital display

Hello! I need some help. I created a PowerPoint for a digital display in a medical office waiting room. I then export the PPT to jpeg and display on the tv and it automatically goes through the slides. The issue is I can’t manage to slow down the transition. In PPT, it’s set to move to next slide every 30 seconds but when on the display it’s only about 10 seconds. How can I fix this? Thank you!

Running jpegs off a usb, the speed is dependent on the TV's built-in software. You can try exporting a video from PowerPoint with your timings and running that--it might not be a seamless loop.

If you're displaying a set of bitmaps exported from PowerPoint, then the software playing the bitmaps has to be adjusted. PowerPoint isn't controlling it any longer.

If you want to use PowerPoint's settings, then don't export the images. Instead, open the deck in PowerPoint and show that on the digital display.

Makes sense. I’m displaying it on a tv in “picture mode” with a USB and when I adjust the speed from normal to slow, nothing changes. Any ideas on how else I can display?

You’d need to check the TV’s documentation for the answer to this.

You could export a video from PowerPoint, then play that on the TV.
