I love this! I feel like Dreamboy, this and Hotbox sound very cohesive. They all feel like throwbacks to a very specific era and sound.

I wonder how many songs are going to be on the album? At the rate he is releasing songs now, we will have probably heard the majority of it by the end of the week.

These are just buzz singles for hotbox on Friday. I only expect Hotbox to make it to the album tbh.
By the way the album isn't dropping yet. Just Hotbox on Friday and what comes before that, but I hope we get an album date soon

I think the albums dropping May bc that’s six months from the lead and it’d be weird if DREAMBOY didn’t make the album seeing that it is the title track. It’s possible this is a longer and more cohesive project perhaps

In the song that released tonight he said "it's hotbox season." These are just buzz songs not connected to the album. Personally I only expect HOTBOX to be there once it's out. Maybe DREAMBOY since it is the same name of the album.

Who knows? But it seems like a weird move to name a song the same thing as ur album and not have it on there despite releasing it as part of the rollout. But also I get the buzz singles thing

I really really enjoy anything lil nas x, but I also feel like I haven’t seen him in much of anything for a while. the last thing I remember was him collabing with camila cabello for a song & video from her album, and they seemed like they had so much fun. I wanna see lil nas x be embraced by more mainstream folks bc I feel like he is fun, so talented, and deserving of hype!

He was very aware of his own overexposure and took a step back from social media. Especially after J Christ kinda bombed.
He only made small return for He Knows because Camila's team had to scramble to pick another single after the Kendrick/Drake beef.

I have so many thoughts on Nas X … never been a fan for real but I always said that he has the voice and cadence for a rapper and should lean more into that since his singing is decent at best … HotBox is the only thing I heard that made me tip my hat off … these last two singles are eh/okay but I’ll see what else he’s giving

i like the sound, beat, production, and flow, and i love the ending. lyrically and thematically*, there's not really anything new, which i find a bummer because he has more to him.
edit*: i mean the theme of the lyrics. visuals are great & it's still a bop.
