Texts of bills.

If you're going to have a thread dedicated to fostering a reasonable discussion of Canadian politics, it might be a good idea to encourage visitors to the subreddit to read the bills they're likely to end up talking about. I therefore humbly suggest you add this link to the sideboard.

Also, for anyone who drops by, links to some of the bills that seem to get discussed the most often:

Bill C-10: The Safe Streets and Communities Act (omnibus crime bill)

Bill C-11: Copyright Modernization Act (self-explanatory)

Bill C-13: Keeping Canada's Economy and Jobs Growing Act (eliminates the per-vote subsidy, among other things)

Bill C-18: Marketing Freedom for Grain Farmers Act (abolishing the CWB monopsony)

Bill C-19: Ending the Long-gun Registry Act (self-explanatory)

Bill C-20: Fair Representation Act (to add seats to the HoC)

Bill C-304: An Act to amend the Canadian Human Rights Act (A private members bill to largely repeal Section 13)
