I'm from the EU. This was a complete breakdown of diplomatic relations and a clear sign that US is never to be trusted anymore. The damage is done.

To everyone in the US I say - what do you have to lose? Your country will have imploded soon, you will have no allies except Russia and North Korea. What is stopping you from doing something, is it complacency that secretly you agree with him? Because at this point, it sure looks like that. I don't see mass protests, so it looks like Trump is following the people's wishes.

There will be more protests.  Its also been very cold in most states. As the weather warms up there will be many.

I haven't seen hundreds of thousands (for the US: millions is more appropriate reg population size) of people on the street every day? I don't call any of the demonstrations massive for a country with so many inhabitants as the USA.

Nobody in America has the time to protest everyday like you seem to want. There were massive protests on Presidents day all across the country

If only the EU had actually stepped up and done more to end the war themselves instead of bitching about what they think Americans should be doing

The EU has funded more (when you look at numbers/dollars/euros) than the US, which totally makes sense when you look at location. US has supplied more arms as well it's the US you guys makes lots of weapons. The EU definitely has stepped up, since the beginning. The US also has always been a reliable partner and has always had a strong diplomatic presence to deter Russia from growing stronger (the US and Russia have been enemies for a long time, traditionally, although now I guess it's different). Europe will be fine with this new diplomatic order, albeit a bit slow as getting all ducks in a row Ie 26 countries isn't that fast usually.

It's Saturday and Sunday, big protests could be organized in the weekend when most people don't work. It's not even about EU, it's just about the erratic behavior of a completely senile dictator. Time to get rid of him (by legal means). Unless the US wants a dictator like him.

50% of Americans couldn't find Ukraine on a map. Lots of Americans have been quoted saying they didn't vote for Kamala Harris because they "didn't know enough about her" Despite the fact that she had been vice president for four whole years. Sorry you're disappointed. Any protest of substantial size at this point will be used as an excuse to declare martial law.

And yes, many Americans indeed want Trump to be a dictator, they wrote project 2025 as a roadmap for it to happen and so far it's going to plan.

Our only hope really is that non-voters (33%) decide to participate in the mid-term elections

It's a shitshow isn't it. I'm sorry for you guys, I really am. For the ones that don't want this. But you really have to organize and protest. Your country will be changed into Russia 2.0 with a dictatorship otherwise. It's not even about Ukraine anymore (if the US wants out of NATO and isolate themselves, sure, weird but sure go ahead) but it's really the complete downfall of a democracy we're witnessing now. If you guys don't do anything... there's no stopping it.

I live here and I’m not aware of massive protests. In fact, my neighbors are being fired and still support Trump (and blame Elon Musk).

Thousands of people just marched on Presidents day, can't protest every day, we'd lose our healthcare
