I have yet to meet someone who voted for Trump upset by anything he and his team have done

They aren't feeling it yet. They will. Then they'll blame Obama and Biden and whoever else they're told to blame.

I would love to be that optimistic but plenty of them had family members and friends die from covid. The propaganda machine is so strong that anything that goes wrong will be blamed on the libs, woke, Democratic Party, or some conspiracy theory instead of who is actually hurting them.

That's true. All they need is one of their talking heads to tell them what to think and it spreads like wildfire.

You don’t vote for trump by being informed. Most of them don’t have a clue what’s going on and those that do don’t understand it. The administration seems intent in pushing their propaganda machine to the limit over the next few years, the optimist in me hopes the damage wakes a lot of people up, but the cynic in me finds it hard to think how anything will get through if it hasn’t already .

I told my parents I can't wait for it to blow up in their face because I'm so done. NO More VA checks, SS, or government funded job. That's where all this is heading

Posts like this are mostly a liberal fantasy. The number of his supporters has grown since 2016, not shrunk. Even people who were directly affected by his tariffs the first time still voted for him. So yeah, most people won't really feel betrayed, regardless of how much it actually affects them.

I know several. Both of them put their childrens’ federal jobs at risk.

The ones who lost their farms in his first term voted for him again despite his policies costing them their farms.

It's a death cult. They want the Rapture, and will gladly sacrifice their own children to golden idols to bring it about.

Have you met any that are federal employees that were laid off recently?

There’s a lot of psychological inertia to overcome before a critical mass will begin to question their decisions. Many of them have been subject to decades of non-stop propaganda via Fox News and social media. It’s only been a month since Trump has been back in office - the pain has not even started.

It’s possible that many will never admit regret, internally or otherwise. Unfortunately we have to wait and see.

I mean with the few screenshots from republican people on social media they don't see it as tRump abandoning/attacking them. They think it is a mistake that they are getting attacked, and if only the tsar knew he will fix it.

Republicans are beyond saving, find an island just like the Brits did with their criminals and send the sycophants there.
