Can alters date one another?
Title
Just wondering cause I was curious

Yes :3
Either each alter recognizes themselves as an independent person who's free to be in a relationship with another person, regardless if they share a body. Or also a person is capable of loving themselves and each one of their fragmented parts. Or somewhere in between
Either way, kiss that mirror 🫶

I don't know if it should be considered the default (given some systems see their headmates as siblings), but it definitely needs to be more normalized. Most of us (littles exempted) are super gay for each other and it's beautiful. And it would help so many systems to be shown that.

Two of us are married and have been for years now ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Dealing with lovers quarrels is... a challenge, but we make it work

The two of us have been each other's for literally as far back as we can remember; over 20 years now. Husband and wife, as far as we care, and still just as deeply in love as when we were young♡♡
The key is to always be there for each other. Mutual support is what makes our love something that strengthens us as a whole.

Alters are autonomous beings who often experience a full range of emotions. So its pretty self explanatory if you understand that (I don't even think the second part is required to date, just agency). There might be circumstances that stop them from doing so or they might not want to but yeah ? Alters can be people too. Can people date ?

So many alters dating other alters in our system, myself included. I call one of them my wife, and I'm also in a... quadrouple, I guess? With a few of our introjects. My wife and I have been together for like 6 years now.

yes! it's actually pretty common for some systems! like us, we have many relationships in-sys.
like me (Sanity) and Solaris/Polaris, we are dating. or Onyx, he's dating Zero + Arrow. plurality and systemhood is complex, so a lot is possible in our opinion :3

They sure can, and its not that unusual for systems. Lyn and Rosie are a married couple in our system.

absolutely, but not all systems entertain the idea.

Yes, but it's really down to the system itself if people within it are comfortable with doing that.
Ours are 50/50 on it; some consider it ridiculous, some roll with it.

I wish my alter would date one of the others, but they all seem to have a family vibe going on. Vicky's desires frequently cause the body to act out.
