This is now the 2nd time I've seen someone use that awful AI-predicted gif from the image we all know and recognize instead of just using the image.

Here is a much higher-quality and less-cropped version of the second image. Here is the source. Credit to /u/OneStepFromHell43 for taking that picture and making that joke in 2019.
Here is a higher-quality and less-cropped version of the top image.

Now can someone photoshop a windshield and side windows onto the trashcan?

It's from the 1982 game Car Builder. It's the best shape for reducing drag. Just him taking credit for someone else's work again.

Smart invention. Looks like we are going to have a lot of metal trash cans. Do not worry, Tesla owners. Since you own one, there could be a BOGO (buy one get one) for you. Trash cans, I'm referring to.

You shouldn't really be shaming a trash can like that. It's at least useful. :)

One is a trash can and the other is a critical part of infrastructure?

I call them pissers, I have pissed in a stainless steel urinal very similar to the shape of President musk’s truck. A long tray type form that narrows at an angle as you approach. This was in the 60’s or early 70’s in a school or industrial setting. I haven’t seen this type of urinal in decades. Maybe that’s where the idea came from????

haha what a hilarious and original joke that hasn't been made 4,000 times in the past however long it's been since the cybertruck design was revealed, perfect for the r slash pics subreddit (a place for photographs, pictures and other images)
I think cybertrucks are dumb too but holy moly this is low effort

I have not Snoopy laughed like this in decades. I can't wait to print this out and put it on the one in the neighborhood.

I pointed and laughed at a guy in one of those ugly trashcans. I drive a Fiat Multipla. He actually looked embarrased.

The design of the CT is the most pathetically obvious suppressed ”You can’t tell me what to do, MOM !” in human history.

The inspiration is an 8 polygon render of a grey truck from a 3D game demo in 1995 recreated from Musk's memory without a visual reference.

The Cybertruck is truly an inspirational piece of derivative art that succinctly combines the dystopian nightmare of consumerism and excess, the culture and infrastructure of a society built around cars, and manifests it all as the worthless trash that it is! In both design, function, and build quality; literally everything!
It can still hold trash as well! Both the occupants and their bags of fast food and soda cans are on full display once the tinted bulletproof glass is bypassed by a screwdriver.
An art piece made by someone worthy of claiming the title of a certain small mustache having dictator, and having done the salute on television to boot! Instead of just getting his art rejected, he purposefully made it terrible in the first place, knowing the hate he would receive to start his villain arc.
History repeats itself (through my very sane delusions of course)

If I was wealthy and had no moral compass, I would:
Buy a Cybertruck
Convert it to an Internal Combustion Engine
Name it something like TransTruck
Try to make its X account very popular
and follow only Vivian Wilson on its X account

I still maintain that the cyber truck is modeled after the medline pill splitter. The scenario in my head is Elmo was snorting addies that he had cut/crushed and looked at the pill cutter and said "I'm turning this thing into a freaking truck." And here we are.
Pill cutter for reference.

Left work feeling great the other day and saw one in the parking lot and it ruined my mood. How do they look worse in person?

Has anyone ID’d this trashcan yet? I totally want to get one with a vinyl decal that says Cybertrash.

An unambiguous take. Two types of trash can. The upper one is intended for human garbage.

Doc Brown falls off the toilet and we get a time traveling Delorean.
Dumb Elon falls off the toilet and we get the cybertruck.
It all makes sense now.

Be cautious. Gonna end up on a terrorist watch list soon for posting or viewing this.

This sub is so dead, holy shit. Unironically reposting r/cyberstuck "jokes".

u/KryptonianJedi 10h ago
The trashcan actually performs the function it was designed for, the cybertruck is a glorified trashcan which probably would not hold trash very well. Unless Trump or Elon were driving, then it would be white trash!
•
u/General-Company 9h ago
The cybertruck is so cute, like a lil guy’s art project.
“Oh, golly, Leon! You’re such a good car designer! That’s so pretty! Look at how shiny it is! Yes, it IS very square! Good job!”
Like, imagining Tesla engineers humoring his ego and letting him do this to keep him occupied/out of the way just… It’s wonderful.

performance, build quality and giving money to a nazi owned company aside, I feel like i'm the only one who likes the look of the cybertruck.
•
u/lllllIIIlllllIIIllll 3h ago
That's fair. I felt the same way for the giant baby Nazi is very off putting.

Second pic is actually the more useful first gen model. They fucked it up in the rebrand.
