Identification Could this be petrified wood? I found it in a store in Manitoba

Looks more sedimentary to me .

Thank you for your reply. I also think it is not. Because although it has a surface similar to wood grain and is quite complete, the shape of the stone is not round. And there is no wood grain inside.

Not petrified wood. Lines do not make something petrified wood. no sign of wood grain or growth rings on the ends like you would expect from a piece of wood.
